    Utility Companies

    Typically, within a week of Closing, you will need to transfer all utilities into your name.  Please do not wait until after Closing because the Sellers may turn-off utilities, in which case there may be a reconnect fee.  (Please note: some Sellers choose to turn off utilities weeks before closing).  This page is also a good resource for paying future bills.

    You will not need to transfer the water bill into your name.  The water bill stays with the physical address and your Title Company will pay the final bill for the Seller.  You will see this reflected on your first bill.

    Contact the US Postal Service to change your address and receive a mailbox key.

    Contact your Home Owners Association (HOA) for gate codes or other questions regarding HOA.  This information will be in your final paperwork emailed to you from our Transaction Coordinator.
